Tate & Lyle Opens New Technical Service Facility in Mexico City, Mexico

Mexico City, Mexico – (May 23, 2013) – Tate Lyle, a leading global provider of ingredients and solutions for the food, beverage and other industries, today announces the opening of its Technical Service Centre in Mexico City.

This facility is part of Tate Lyle’s extensive global network of innovation, application and technical service centres that provide application development, rapid prototyping and complete formulation, process and evaluation expertise to help food and beverage customers’ transition more quickly from product conception to market.

The new site is conveniently located close to the World Trade Centre, Mexico DF, and offers expertise in the innovative, versatile application of Tate Lyle’s ingredients that support new product development and line extensions in beverage, bakery and confectionery, convenience, dairy and snack categories.

The new technical service centre applies the latest technology available for sweeteners, wellness ingredients and texturants, including a multi-functional and scale-up high performance colloid mill, a pilot scale convection oven plus a high precision texture analyser, to test the application and behavior of Tate Lyle’s wide range of products.
