EADS invites professionals and students to the 50th International Paris Air Show at Le Bourget
EADS and its Divisions Airbus, Astrium, Cassidian and Eurocopter are inviting experienced professionals, students and graduates to explore career opportunities with Europe’s biggest aerospace Group. At the HR Lounge “EADS Careers” in the EADS pavilion at the Paris International Air Show, candidates from all over the world can meet EADS experts, engineers and HR representatives. They are available the whole week to discuss the latest innovations and future challenges as well as the diverse career paths within the Group.
EADS offers 21 workshops, running from 17th June to 23rd June available to candidates who pre-register online. Candidates can choose from a wide range of workshops on innovative product-oriented topics such as the development of composites in next generation helicopters (Eurocopter), possibilities of bringing space benefits to earth or explore the universe (Astrium), to new strategic challenges like cyber security or the Eurofighter’s export prospects (Cassidian) and career-related topics such as apprenticeship opportunities at Airbus.

EADS is looking for graduates and students in the fields of composites, system and mechanical engineering, as well as in Software Design and IT. Experienced profiles in composites, avionics, design engineering and in the supply chain sector are highly sought after. Opportunities for technicians are available to all levels of experience.
A few highlights of the week:
Diversity Day on Thursday 20th June: With 130 nationalities on board, EADS is a global and truly international company. Divisional representatives will engage candidates during five workshops to explain the Group’s commitment to understand and support diversity in the workplace. EADS has the target that 25% of its new recruits each year should be women and therefore places importance on encouraging young women to consider scientific studies .The Group will support the “Elles Bougent” initiative that invites 150 young female high-school students to Le Bourget as well as the German student group “Femtec” who will be presenting the project of their 2013 Innovation camp on the Start-up of a water-analysis 'Biodetector'.
International Graduate Day on Friday 21st June: As a global industrial leader, EADS believes a diverse workforce is a competitive advantage. The company therefore has a role to play in developing international talents. Interactive presentations will demonstrate the global strategy of the Group to encourage transnational and trans-divisional job mobility and promote an inclusive work environment. Over 130 candidates are expected to take part in this exclusive full-day event. Through speeches and career talks, candidates will explore our many career opportunities and have a broad awareness of the Divisional businesses. Experts and engineers will be present to give an insight to students and graduates on our fascinating projects, latest innovations and future challenges.
