Food industry comments on Richard Review
Commenting on the Government's Richard Review, Angela Coleshill said:
"The Government's proposals for Apprenticeship reform put employers at the heart of developing robust qualifications that fit the needs of both industry and apprentices."
"Food and drink manufacturers trebled the number of Apprenticeships in the industry over the last 18 months and Apprenticeships continue to be an essential route to satisfy industry's need for specialist skilled and talented people."
"The Government has committed to a focus on standards and quality measures. This reflects the next phase of FDF's Apprenticeship pledge which will aim to drive an increase in the number of higher-level Apprenticeships and develop an industry-recognised quality standard for training providers."
