The International Holistic Lifestyle Expo to arrive in Eastlake, OH
/EINPresswire.com/ Fifth annual event brings education, fun, music and enlightenment
Eastlake, Ohio, February 25, 2013 -- For the fifth year in a row, greater tri-state area businesses that serve the holistic/metaphysical market will have a collaborative forum to expose the public to their products, arts, and services. The International Holistic Lifestyle Expo announces its new location at the beautiful Radisson Hotel, 35000 Curtis Blvd, Eastlake, Ohio. The expo takes place on Saturday, April 27, from 10:00 to 7:00, and Sunday, April 28, from 10:00 to 5:00.
A gathering of wisdom
The ever growing holistic and metaphysical segment of our population and their passion for this lifestyle is what sparked Patti Ann Dooms of Feather Touch Celebrations and her partner Timothy Brainard, professional psychic-medium, to embark on this journey five years ago, to assist people in evolving beyond the worldly nonsense that so many label as ‘reality’.
As Dooms says, “People want to learn and be exposed to ‘new’ things that are as ‘old’ as mankind. Both past vendors and guests of the expo have expressed gratitude that such an event has brought together some of the greatest thinkers, educators, retailers, practitioners, artists, and facilitators in our area.”
As one of those great thinkers, this year’s event includes healer and author of "To Be Healed By The Earth," Dr. Warren Grossman. Dr. Grossman practiced conventional psychotherapy until a trip to Brazil left him desperately ill. He became aware of the energy inherent in nature, and that he could draw on it to recover. Warren has spent the last 23 years paying attention to, as he explains it, “What it is like to stand on the earth and to lie on it; how to love, as a moment to moment choice, not how to wait for its fortuitous occurrence; how to heal others by using nature and the energy of the heart.”
Dooms tells us that in addition to Dr. Grossman, the expo will also feature Hay House author Dr. Terry Gordon. Dr. Gordon, a Cleveland Clinic–trained cardiologist, practiced within mainstream medicine for over two decades. Named the American Heart Association’s National Physician of the Year in 2002, Dr. Gordon is nationally recognized in matters of the heart. As a motivational speaker, he has shared the stage with Dr. Wayne Dyer; as a musician, he is the co-host of Docs Who Rock, a United Way event. He is the author of the new book: “No Storm Lasts Forever: Transforming Suffering Into Insight” (Hay House/ July 2012) published by Hay House. Another first in 2013 is the inspirational and healing music of Jim Cipiti of "Heart-Strings." Jim has been playing guitar since he was 5 years old and offers 40 years of wisdom behind his melodies. “We are delighted to have the opportunity to include Jim's art to this year's expo, where his music will continually be creating a sacred space throughout the weekend. Jim sends Reiki energy out through his music wherever, and whenever he performs.” Cipiti adds that incorporating Reiki and healing frequency techniques into the music of his life is one of his greatest joys.
In addition to Dr. Grossman, Dr. Gordon and Cipiti, the International Holistic Lifestyle Expo also features vendors offering natural products, hand-crafted gemstone jewelry, various artisans, aromatherapy products, crystals, natural soaps, Native American products, art, holistic practitioners, healers, intuitive readers, metaphysical professionals, health products, and food supplements. The expo will also offer a variety of free mini-lectures throughout the weekend.
