One Lot of Infants’ Little Remedies for Fevers Recalled

OTTAWA - Health Canada is informing Canadians that Prestige Brands is conducting a voluntary recall of one lot (lot 3742) of its Infants’ Little Remedies for Fevers after testing conducted by the company indicated some bottles may contain less than the claimed amount of acetaminophen.

As a result, the product may not reduce fevers, relieve aches and pains due to colds and flu, or provide relief for headaches or teething pain.

Infants’ Little Remedies for Fevers was being sold throughout Canada at retail locations such as Walmart, Shoppers Drug Mart and other retail locations. Health Canada is monitoring Prestige Brands' voluntary recall.

Parents wishing more information about Infants’ Little Remedies for Fevers are encouraged to contact Prestige Brands at 1-800-754-8853. Health Canada would also like to remind parents who have purchased or given Infants’ Little Remedies for Fevers to their children to contact their health care practitioner if they have any concerns.
