Continental Tire to Co-Sponsor The Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour For 2013

Fort Mill, SC – January 25, 2013. Continental Tire has signed a two-year agreement to become the co-sponsor for America’s ultimate gearhead road trip. Chevrolet Performance Presents The HOT ROD Power Tour Driven by Continental Tire® will hit the road for its 19th consecutive year on June 1-7, 2013.
Over 75,000 car lovers will come see the over 4,700 gorgeous performance machines rolling into seven cities in seven days. At each stop, a performance marketplace, featuring top aftermarket manufacturers, accompanies the thousands of hot rods, muscle cars, street machines, custom creations, and trucks that go on display for the day as the pages of Hot Rod come to life.
The 2013 Chevrolet Performance Presents The HOT ROD Power Tour Driven by Continental Tire kicks off on June 1 in Arlington, TX. From there, stops will include: Texarkana, AR; Little Rock, AR; Memphis, TN; Birmingham, AL; and Chattanooga, TN before a spectacular finale stop on June 7 in Charlotte, NC.

The Grand Finale stop in Charlotte, NC of the 2013 HOT ROD Power Tour will mark an intersection of sorts for Continental Tire’s performance event sponsorships. The stop is near the headquarters of Richard Petty Motorsports. Continental Tire is featured on the Petty’s Garage Performance Tour, with stops at various GRAND-AM races, and major car shows, an association that began in 2012.
