You have to realize that our so called normal society is actually sub-normal. Our whole country is controlled/run by our biggest enemy - our phony trophy self image!
Every time you have a brainstorming session to solve problems facing the nation, you and your experts discus the best possible solutions by putting on the table the symptoms of any and all crises. Getting rid of the symptoms does not cure the disease and so nothing changes. The real disease controlling our lives is our own phony trophy self image. Our exact enemy is the emotional baggage that generates an emotionally ill self image that leads to all this emotionally challenged behavior. Whether it is the political divide, Wall Street greed, our education system being a mess, high divorce rates, crime, drug addictions, you name it; it all boils down to the fundamental cause of our brains running on emotional baggage. We are all emotionally sick as a society on a mass scale; our emotional intelligence is messed up.
We have climbed into this new place where emotional intelligence is now considered essential to human intelligence, but our knowledge of emotional intelligence is still fuzzy. There is nothing fuzzy about emotional intelligence! Emotional intelligence is an innate property of the physical brain. It is generated by the biochemical reactions of the brain; where the emotional baggage determines the quality of emotional intelligence. It is the physical brain health that we as parents, teachers and society create one child at a time that determines the quality/health of emotional intelligence. It is us parents, teachers and society that cultivate this emotional baggage in our children; messing up their emotional intelligence. We set up society on a massive scale to create all this emotionally challenged behavior.
Unfortunatly the whole world is caught in its own spin. Starting with you, you are deliberately trying to confront all the major problems facing America and trying to find the best way out of every crises. Unfortunately you and your experts are focused on trying to remove the symptoms rather than eliminating the basic disease. Please wake up to the biggest crises of them all. It is our half baked knowledge of the brain and mind. We are still so confused about the mind that there is no topic mind in High School text books! The self image is the face of the mind; by changing our self image we change our mind! By making our self image healthy we make our mind healthy. By making our self image emotionally intelligent we make our mind emotionally intelligent. The phony trophy self image is powered by the emotional baggage and by removing the emotional baggage we remove the phoniness from our minds/lives.

In spite of all the progress in the mind sciences, the connection between the physical brain and emotional intelligence is below the radar screen. It is amazing that the link between a clean/emotional-baggage free brain and emotional-intelligence/wisdom is not obvious to our emotional-intelligence/wisdom experts, even though it is clear that an emotionally challenged brain is the cause of emotionally challenged behavior, which is unwise behavior!!! Can one even imagine unwise/ignorant behavior originating in an emotionally super mature brain! It is very clear that wisdom/emotional-intelligence education is about making the brain physically emotionally healthy by getting rid of the emotional baggage.
Mr. President please wake up to our biggest enemy, our biggest disaster; it is our lack of knowledge of the fundamental cause of all this mess. Our biggest problem/enemy is our phony trophy self image. We need to educate/upbring our children into pure selves and ensure that they do not grow into phony self images. For adults we need to have self image therapy coaching to rid our brains of our emotional baggage.
