/EINPresswire.com/The much coveted two day Shingo workshops are designed to help companies to drive transformation in order to achieve world class business results. This particular programme is held at the BAE Systems Rochester site in Kent and is an intensive course teaching attendees how to best use the principles of the course to transform their company.
Commencing on the 11th December, The Principles of Operational Excellence workshops teach attendees about the principles of operational excellence through The Shingo Prize Model. Via the Gemba 'go and see' exercises, individuals can apply the core aspects of the course at the world famous manufacturing giants, BAE.
The idea of the project is that The Manufacturing Institute chooses host sites that are leaders in operational excellence. This means that delegates can get a first-hand experience of what operational excellence looks like and will therefore be able to apply this to their business model.
For those that aren't aware, The BAE Systems Rochester site designs and produces advanced electronic systems and employs 1,400 people serving a vast spectrum of global commercial and military customers. The brand's reputation is second to none when it comes to manufacturing best practice having been at the forefront of the sector for as long as fifteen years now. Operational excellence, high quality, cost reduction and sustained improvements are all foundations on which BAE Systems has been built.
Copies of the event brochure, as with all events organised through The Manufacturing Institute, can be downloaded from www.manufacturinginstitute.co.uk/courses. Pricing is £950 plus VAT with a discount of 15% available if three or more attendees are registered. Alternatively, interested parties can click on the link to download a pdf immediately.
