Chicago SEO Firm Design & Promote Hosts Facebook Seminar

A group of Chicago area marketing professionals filled the conference center at the Chicago SEO and web design firm, Design & Promote, on October 18 to attend a seminar on "How to Be a Good Facebook Manager". The seminar was presented by Amy Brownfield, Project Manager at Design & Promote.
"As social media marketing specialists, clients often ask us to create a Facebook presence for them," said Brownfield. "They have questions about the value of Facebook and what to post. So, we thought it would be a good topic to cover in our firm's seminar series."
The seminar began by encouraging attendees to determine their target market, then moved on to discuss how to develop a marketing strategy on Facebook to engage this audience. Brownfield also covered the "how to's" of setting up a Facebook page, and tips and tricks on posting content, building an audience and measuring results. "About 80% of businesses use Facebook," said Brownfield, "and the most "shared" and "liked" posts contain a photo or video with something personal about the company or the employees."
The event was the third in a monthly series of internet marketing-related seminars hosted by Design & Promote. The next seminar will take place on Thursday, November 15 and is entitled "Using Linkedin as a B2B Lead Generation Tool." Seminars are free, but registration is required at designandpromote.com.
