Over 95% of all batteries manufactured in the U.S. are deemed dangerous goods materials by the DOT requiring specification packaging and proper documents in order to avoid being in violation under the Hazardous Material Table (CFR49).

During THE BATTERY SHOW, HAZPlus(R) will be featuring four new battery packaging configurations that are appropriate for products in Packing Group II and III and up to 43kg in the largest packaging, 22.5kg in the mid-size packaging and 7.2kg for smaller applications. A user-friendly Battery Packaging Quick Reference Chart will be available at the booth, along with samples of each battery packaging with inner components, LDPE liner bags, vermiculate, tape and shipping labels.
Demonstrations of HAZPlus'(R) proprietary CFR49 Interactive Hazardous Materials Table (HMT) will be on display during the show. This one-of-a-kind tool provides deep-link access to the entire HMT authenticated by GPO Access with easy searching of rules and provisions based on UN ID number or Proper Shipping name.
