Kumar will speak at "Burma in Transition: Minorities, Human Rights, and Democratic Process," in regards to the Rohingya Muslim minority in Myanmar on September 14, 2012 from 3:00-5:30p.m. at the Rotunda of Low Library, Columbia University .
Kumar will address the audience alongside Nobel Laureate Amartya Sen among other speakers. The presentations will be followed by roundtable discussion.
