Halloween, also known as the holiday of scares, seems to be the theme of this entire year. Since January, there have been more horror films released than ever with people becoming fascinated with the zombie or supernatural characters within them.

Halloween parties and costumes haven't always been about the evil and gruesome characters in the movies nor have they been about the most gruesome of scenes. However, thanks to the movies that have come out so far this year, evil gruel will be the predicted theme for many parties and costumes. Many companies are thanking movies like The Devil Inside, Underworld: Awakening, The Cabin in the Woods and Chernobyl Diaries for setting the tone for this year's Halloween must have items and costumes.
Will those costumes also appear on pets this year, or will people stick with dressing their furry friends in traditional costumes such as tasty food items or super heroes? The National Retail Federation is expecting a $310 million revenue this year on pet costumes alone with some of the top pet outfits including a ghost, a witch, a delicious hot dog, the devil and the number one costume, a pumpkin.
Other top products that have already been flying off the shelves this summer have been the various fun LED novelties. With the Halloween holiday coming up, new LED and glow products have become available in all forms so kids can have fun while parents feel a lot safer about them out trick or treating at night.
