New roles for Andreas Lundby and Hans-Åke Hammarström

The two members who have decided to retire from the Executive Management Group (EMG) will continue working for Arla, devoting themselves to more specific strategic tasks.

Andreas Lundby, 61, has been a member of Arla's EMG since 1998, and from 2004 with the title Vice CEO. Leaving the management and EMG, he will focus on fewer but nevertheless key strategically critical development areas within Arla Foods – while, at the same time, devoting more time to his family. In particular, Andreas Lundby will work on Group strategic tasks in respect of Arla Foods Ingredients and China. He will also continue to represent Arla in a number of external international contexts.

Hans-Åke Hammarström, 60, has been a member of the EMG since 2004. He will continue to carry out special strategic assignments in Sweden and Finland for the Group and for Executive Vice President for Consumer Sweden, Christer Åberg.

”For many years, Andreas Lundby and Hans-Åke Hammarström have made a significant contribution to the Danish and Swedish businesses and also across the markets through their roles in the EMG,” Peder Tuborgh says. “Their responsibilities have been considerable and they’ve had a direct impact on creating what Arla is today. I’m pleased, therefore, that they are both willing to contribute to the Group’s development going forward.”
