SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 06/27/24 at approximately 2058 hours, Vermont State Police were dispatched to a residence on Pine Ridge Drive, Pownal, for a dispute. The caller reported Nathan Susee was on her property, trying to instigate a fight with her and the other residents at that location.

Troopers arrived on scene and began investigating the incident. During the investigation, it was learned William Danforth had fired a shot into the air during the confrontation. Mr. Danforth was taken into custody for Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon and later released with Court Ordered Conditions of release, which included that he appear in Bennington Criminal Court 06/28/24 at 1230.

Nathen Susee was also charged in this incident, receiving a citation to appear in Bennington Criminal Court to answer to the charges of Aggravated Disorderly Conduct and Unlawful Trespass.

There were no injuries received by any parties during this incident.
