RUSSIA, March 16 - Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin used online voting to cast his ballot in Russia’s presidential elections, opting for remote e-voting for the second consecutive year.

Those registered online do not need to physically visit a polling station, so the Prime Minister filled in the ballot on his office computer.
Mikhail Mishustin emphasised the importance of the electoral choice that Russian citizens were making at this time.
“We are talking about Russia’s future, the opportunities awaiting future generations, our children. Through voting, each individual assumes responsibility for the nation as a whole,” said the Prime Minister.
He emphasised the significance of making this choice, this decision, for the betterment of Russia, for the well-being of loved ones, and for securing the future.
Expressing gratitude to those who had already cast their votes, whether electronically or on paper, Mikhail Mishustin noted that nearly a third of the country’s regions offered remote voting options in 2024.
