SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On the above date and time, a black Ford Edge was observed traveling erratically and at an unsafely high rate of speed in a commercial area of US Rte 5 in Derby, weaving in and out of traffic and leaving its lane of travel.  The vehicle was stopped shortly thereafter and the operator identified as Pierce.  Pierce was placed under arrest and transported to the VSP Derby Barracks, where she was processed and released with a citation to appear in court at a later date.
