LogMeln Puts Farrell, Bardos In Key Positions

October 13, 2009 (FinancialWire) — LogMeIn, Inc. (NASDAQ: LOGM), a provider of on-demand, remote-connectivity solutions, announced key management changes in the product organization designed to more closely align product development with go-to-market strategies and improve the customer experience.

Kevin Farrell has been promoted to vice president and general manager of Endpoint Solutions and Kevin Bardos has been appointed to vice president and general manager of Support and Collaboration Technologies. In conjunction with these appointments, Carol Meyers has resigned as vice president and chief marketing officer of LogMeIn to pursue other interests.

In his new role, Farrell will lead product development and marketing of LogMeIn’s remote access and IT management products, including LogMeIn Free, Pro2, Hamachi2 and Central. He previously served as vice president and general manager of Digital Living for LogMeIn. Farrell joined LogMeIn in 2006 and has been responsible for expanding LogMeIn’s remote access and management offerings, including the development of LogMeIn Ignition for iPhone and the recent launch of the new LogMeIn Central, a web-based IT management console.

In his new role, Bardos will lead product development and marketing of LogMeIn’s remote support and collaboration products. He previously served as vice president of Product Development for LogMeIn. Since joining the company in 2004, Bardos has managed development of the award-winning LogMeIn Rescue product line, a secure and easy-to-use remote IT support solution used by help desk professionals, service providers and mobile operators worldwide.
