Reporting to the Safety Manager, the Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) is responsible for the efficient management and enhancement of employee wellness at Allan Division. The OHN will be responsible for the ongoing management of a variety of Health Surveillance programs, and will liaise between the employee, management, and other health and safety personnel in dealing with all aspects of disability claims management, and the coordination of work modifications and return to work plans. This position is also responsible for the operation and maintenance of the First Aid facility on site.

The ideal candidate will hold an active registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association, with training and/or experience in the field of Occupational Health Nursing. Preference will be given to candidates who have, or are working towards obtaining, their COHN(C) designation with the Canadian Nurses Association. Current certification in Audiometric Testing, Spirometry Testing, and ITLS certification are considered an asset. Valid CPR/AED – HCP is required.

Candidates will possess a minimum of 2 to 4 years directly related and progressively responsible experience, preferably in an industrial unionized setting. In addition, superior interpersonal, organizational, communication, facilitation, and computer skills will be required, along with strong service orientation and flexibility.

The successful candidate may be required to undergo a background check.  All safety sensitive positions require a substance test in accordance with PotashCorp policy.
