TiE Detroit Announces Three Recipients for US Presidential Services Award

Mr. Adarsh Rachmale, Ms. Kavya Chaturvedi and Mr. Arnav Ramu announced winners of the 2017 US Presidential Service Awards.

FARMINGTON HILLS, MICHIGAN, U.S., March 7, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ -- TiE Detroit announced winners of the 2017 US Presidential Service Awards as a certifying organization. TiE Detroit recognized three alums of TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE Detroit) for their volunteer service and significant contributions to promoting entrepreneurship.

The three recipients for the Presidential Service Awards 2017 are Mr. Adarsh Rachmale, Ms. Kavya Chaturvedi and Mr. Arnav Ramu. Each recipient has been awarded the Bronze level of US Presidential Service Award for 2017. They showed exemplary leadership and initiative in promoting entrepreneurship amongst high school students and young adults. Each recipient documented over 100 hours of community service towards the cause of promoting TiE’s mission of fostering entrepreneurship.

TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) targets a very motivated population segment of high school children by teaching them the basics of entrepreneurship though an intensive mentoring program. This 7 month long programs encourages the youth to get involved in the value creation process by exposing them to the entrepreneurial mindset. Seasoned entrepreneurs and mentors coach high school children (grades 9-12) on a business-focused curriculum. The program culminates to a global Business Plan Competition and nurtures creativity, self-confidence, leadership and overall development of the students.
