The Center for the Biology of Chronic Disease (CBCD) announces the publication of a new medical commentary on the potential of Gene-Eden-VIR, a natural antiviral oral supplement, as an alternative treatment for cervical cancer. The commentary, written by Hanan Polansky and Will Blesch was published on March 17, 2016 in the Journal of Cervical Cancer. The commentary lists studies, which have shown that Gene-Eden-VIR is antiviral against the human papillomavirus (HPV). Additionally, the commentary references a paper published in Acta Oncologica, which discussed the anti-tumor effects of Gene-Eden-VIR. (1)

The authors of the commentary quoted a clinical study that “specifically measured the effect of Gene-Eden-VIR on “genital warts, low and high grade cervical dysplasia, (and) abnormal Pap smear results …the results showed that, “Seventy three percent (30/41) of the individuals treated with Gene-Eden-VIR reported a decrease in these symptoms (and symptoms of other viruses).” (1)
