Oregon City Dentists Hire Talented Dental Assistant, Dental Hygienist

OREGON CITY, OR--(Marketwired - January 28, 2016) - An Oregon City dental office that provides dentistry for adults and children has added a new dental assistant and dental hygienist to its experienced dental team.

/EINPresswire.com/ -- Drs. Annalisa and Kyle Smith, who operate Oregon City Family Dentistry, hired dental assistant Chelsey Keyes in October and dental hygienist Nicole Duhrkoop this month. Keyes finished dental assisting school last year, and Duhrkoop has spent 13 years in the dental field.

"Both Chelsey and Nicole blend in perfectly with our practice, and they make our patients feel comfortable during their dental cleanings and dental procedures," Dr. Annalisa Smith said. "We are extremely excited to welcome them into our office and look forward to introducing them to all of our patients." Dental assistants prepare patient X-rays, perform equipment sterilization, take dental impressions and work hand-in-hand with the dentists to provide quality dental care. Dental assistants also provide instructions for patients following oral surgery or dental restorations.

Dental hygienists spend a great deal of time with each patient, cleaning and polishing a patient's teeth to reduce the risk of cavities. Oregon City Family Dentistry hygienists also work with patients to establish healthy at-home dental routines and work closely with patients to schedule regular dental cleanings.

"Chelsey and Nicole provide excellent patient care and have genuine interest in their patients, excellent skills and fantastic chairside manner," Dr. Annalisa Smith said.

Oregon City Family Dentistry, 602 Monroe St., is a state-of-the-art facility with a husband-and-wife dental team skilled in general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, children's dentistry and sedation dentistry.
