Bonneville Media Selects WideOrbit's WO Traffic

WideOrbit Traffic Management Platform Unites Bonneville's Advertising Operations Across Markets and Media Formats

/EINPresswire.com/ -- SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - December 02, 2015) - WideOrbit Inc., the leading provider of advertising management software for media companies, announced today that Bonneville International plans to install WideOrbit's WO Traffic platform at all of the radio stations in its portfolio.

Bonneville, which already uses WideOrbit to manage traffic operations at its television station KSL-TV, plans to deploy WO Traffic to manage business operations across its entire portfolio of radio stations in major media markets throughout the western United States.

A subsidiary of Deseret Management Corporation, Bonneville owns and operates highly-rated radio stations in the Seattle and Phoenix markets as well as a TV and radio station in Salt Lake City. The company also plans to deploy WO Traffic at the four radio stations in the Denver market it acquired from Entercom in a transaction expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2015.

Bonneville's selection of WideOrbit came after an exhaustive assessment of station operations and vendor capabilities. The Salt Lake City-based media company chose WO Traffic because of its unique ability to centralize ad operations of all of its properties and revenue streams on a single database.

"WideOrbit's technology will strengthen Bonneville's centralized management capabilities while preserving the creative independence our stations need to leverage the power of localism in broadcasting," said Darrell K. Brown, President, Bonneville International Corporation and a member of the NAB Television Board. "WO Traffic will help us manage traffic, grow sales and realize efficiencies across our group. WideOrbit is an excellent, forward-thinking partner who will help us fulfill our long-term growth strategy."

"We couldn't be more pleased that Bonneville International and its stations have selected WideOrbit as their foundation for advertising operations excellence. We expect Bonneville will experience improved management control and expand their opportunities to grow ROI by consolidating on a platform that unites properties and markets," said Eric R. Mathewson, Founder and CEO, WideOrbit. "We are honored that companies like Bonneville that place a premium on community service select our solution as a basis for improving efficiency, control and profit."
