NASSAU, BAHAMAS, July 23, 2015 /EINPresswire.com/ -- NASSAU, Bahamas –Arianna Vanderpool-Wallace rose above the pack on Friday night at the Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada and grabbed the gold for The Islands Of The Bahamas in her nail-biting performance.

The Bahamian swimmer started off her Pan American Games run with a bronze medal in the 100m freestyle on Tuesday with fans in awe of her immense skill. Later on, she showed of her talent at the 50m freestyle with a record-breaking qualifying swim of 24.31 seconds.

Bahamian history was made as Vanderpool-Wallace swam in the pivotal final race for the 50m freestyle and retrieved the gold with an impressive time of 24.38 seconds. She beat the likes of Etiene Medeiros of Brazil and Natalie Coughlan of the United States.
