You can be the judge in a 30-second digital holiday video that was created for the upcoming holidays.

In the clip, Santa and the Green Giant exchange “Ho Ho Ho’s” against a wintry backdrop until the Green Giant’s resonant baritone shakes the snow loose from overhanging branches, pelting himself and Santa with snow.

The holiday greeting, which was posted to YouTube, helps connect consumers - particularly younger ones - to the benefit of eating vegetables and the Green Giant brand. The intent is for the video to be passed along via email and social media. 

The Green Giant was ranked No. 3 in Advertising Age’s icons of the 20th century, but  was not featured in a national TV campaign for nearly a decade leading up to August 2008, when it was decided to reintroduce him to a new generation of consumers.

The brand’s history dates back more than a century, starting in 1903 at the Minnesota Valley Canning Company.
