Boeing [NYSE: BA] through its subsidiary Jeppesen, today announced a new agreement with the Aeroclub de Reus of Spain, providing a new version of Boeing eAcademy training services to enhance the flying club’s ability to train a new generation of general aviation pilots. The new eAcademy version incorporates the same e-learning programs that are being used in airline training on a global scale.

“These new capabilities allow us to take our training capabilities to the next level of participation and advanced learning,” said Enric Moralla, president, Aeroclub de Reus. “We are looking to increase our training output using these capabilities, with a goal of training more than 100 pilots annually, while increasing our total number of airplanes available to the club.”
