MAKATI, METRO MANILA, PHILIPPINES, November 26, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ -- United Nations Global Compact Philippines Local Representative & Chairperson Ms Yayu Javier will take the lead on November 29th,2017 to engage an audience for a full day session that will identify and align a diaspora of Stakeholders committed to the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals in accordance with the 10 Principles.

The Regional Head of United Nations Global Compact Asia & Oceania Networks Ms Meng Liu will be present to address the delegates sharing with them the 10 Principles and its importance in achieving the 17 SDGs Worldwide , making Global Goals Local Business .

UNDP Country Director Titon Mitra will share a Presentation of the Philippine Transformation Business Report and other initiatives whilst the NEDA Representative Carlos Bernardo Abad Santos will present an overview of the SDG achievements of the Government as well as the focus for 2018 .

On behalf of the SDG Pioneer Jaime Zobel de Ayala of Ayala Corporation, TG Limcaoco will represent the Ayala Group with a Motivational Talk and also share a Video Message of JAZA

This is then followed by a few short inspirational talks from companies that have shown that advancing SDGs is great for business .

In the post lunch session , the Group will engage in two workshop sessions, one for Dot Voting to develop a common understanding of the strengths and weaknesses in turning SDGs into business opportunities followed by a Stakeholder Mapping on how engagement can be intensfied .

The Session ends with each group presenting themselves and a closing presentation with important messages for the participants to take home .
