GLEN BURNIE,, MD. --, UNITED STATES, August 6, 2015 /EINPresswire.com/ -- GLEN BURNIE, Md. – Author Retta Morgan Brant partners with Tate Publishing to kick-start the publication process of her inspirational book, “Our Father’s Whisper.”

Brant’s book highlights her triumph over the adversities and abuses in her life and how she heard God’s voice prompting her to look at life through a different, more vibrant picture.

“At my lowest, I actually heard Our Father’s whisper in my soul. I was on the floor severely frustrated, angry, hurt, and frightened to end the relationship I was in. I cried harder than I have ever cried and I prayed to God to help me stop my self-inflicted pains and burdens. To give me the strength to walk away from the man who got me into such a dark and tumultuous life,” Brant shares in an interview.

“My Inspiration for my book was God, God told me to get up off the floor and get your Bible! I automatically got up and began to obey him by getting my Bible from the nightstand in my bedroom, and that's when I heard His Whisper again, ‘Not that one, the one on the landing.’ I grabbed it quickly and opened immediately and without wonder or hesitation to the Book of Job. Nobody will ever understand what I realized that exact moment. I cried out desperately to God himself and He heard me and immediately answered my cry.”

After losing a lot in her life, her business, her family, Retta sought solace in God and hopes to reach out to people and to touch them with what God has shown her.

“Retta has given us this gift to hold and to cherish. It is simply a poignant and moving book that everyone must read to help them get through their dark and murky point in life,” Stacy Baker, Acquisitions Editor, states.

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book will be available upon its release, through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.

Retta Morgan Brant is the mother of two. Her dark history of drugs and abuse prompted her to seek God’s help and it was given. Retta collects sea shells for arts and crafts and uses them to form crosses. She now lives in Glen Burnie, Maryland.
