AHA discusses innovation, cybersecurity at digital health conference
The AHA participated Feb. 18 at ViVE, a health care conference in Nashville focusing on digital health technology. Chris DeRienzo, M.D., AHA senior vice president and chief physician executive, led a session on using artificial intelligence to help tackle financial, operational and logistical barriers to fuel growth and spur innovation.
John Riggi, AHA national advisor for cybersecurity and risk, held a keynote session on cybersecurity resilience that discussed assessing for third-party cyberthreats and the future of cybersecurity in health care. He later participated in a panel on system access and the role of identity-based security in protecting health care systems.
