This event served as the launch of Miami Climate Week 2024 and aimed to make Miami the green capital of the Americas. The event was organized by CC35, a nonprofit organization committed to promoting collaborations between the public and private sectors, with the support of StoneX and Lockton.

At the Earth Day Summit, Onpeak had the opportunity to hear from personalities from North America, Latin America and the Caribbean. We were particularly impressed with the remarks from Miami-Dade major Daniella Levine Cava, who shared the success of the county’s climate action strategy and the commitment of making Miami the green capital of the Americas.

Sebastian Navarro, the general secretary of CC35, also spoke at the event, highlighting how the handling of climate-related initiatives are existential to Miami’s future. Additionally, we were moved by the remarks of Luca Martinez, a young photographer from Miami, who showed his work and presented the beauty and fragility of the Everglades.

Onpeak is committed to supporting initiatives to help mitigate and reduce carbon footprint. We will continue to work closely with Miami-Dade and the organizations working for Miami Climate Week 2024, which is set to be hosted in April 2024.
