Moroccan Furniture Store Releases New Range of Cement Tiles & Sinks
/EINPresswire.com/ Leading online Moroccan furniture retailer, Star of Morocco, has released a new range of Cement tiles and Moroccan sinks for October 2011.
Leading online Moroccan furniture retailer, Star of Morocco, has released a new range of Moroccan tiles and Moroccan ceramic sinks for October 2011. The new product range comes hot off the heels of their recent stocking of a broad range of new handmade Moroccan lanterns.
The new cement tiles bring increased diversity to an already extensive range of popular ceramic Moroccan tiles. The six new styles are "spacious" in design and could be considered somewhat more modern, yet the handmade and hand painted styles are still wholeheartedly Moroccan.
CEO, Adeal Benhayoun, comments on the new range; "With summer ending and a lot of our customers considering retiling the kitchen, the hallway, or the bathroom, we wanted to increase their options and provide a brand new selection of more spacious, slightly more minimalist designs than those of the summer collection to choose from. These tiles are cement based and extremely durable and very affordable. We have already been inundated with enquiries and are very excited about the launch."
Accompanying the tiles is a range of sinks, which adopt similar patterns to that of traditional Moroccan tiles. Aptly named Casablanca, the range comprises a Portuguese feel at the core. With yellow, blue, green, black and white, red, and a multi-colored version to choose from, there is something for everyone and a design to suit every bathroom or washroom. The sinks are bowl-like in design, appropriating the recent western trend in opting for the Asian/Middle Eastern style round sink - single tap design over the traditional western square shaped sink.
When asked what he thought was driving this bathroom diversity in the west, Mr. Benhayoun replied; "People are looking outside of the box, as it were. People are bored with the same old norms, designs, and patterns, and as such are increasingly looking across the globe at other cultures to see how they do things in the home, and where possible incorporating aspects of these differences into their own design solutions. Moroccan furniture is diverse and fun, and these Moroccan sinks and cement tiles are just one example of being able to bring a subtle cultural innovation into the western home."
Star of Morocco is the web's leading Moroccan furniture and Moroccan tiles retailer. They sell both to the public and wholesale on request.
