VIOLATION: Burglary, Gross Negligent Operation, Eluding a Police Officer

 

ACCUSED: James A. Badger (Royalton,30)                                   

 

VICTIM: Jeff/Laurie Keehn

ADDRESS: 4087 RT 12A, Braintree, VT

 

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On the above date and time, Vermont State Police in Royalton were notified of an active burglary at a residence on Route 12A in the town of Braintree. With the assistance of local 911 callers, the police were able to locate a vehicle involved in the Burglary. The occupants fled into the woods near 12A and Duclos Road. Vermont State Police K9 unit was activated and tracked two subjects into the woods. One subject, Jasmine A. Brown of Bethel, VT was taken into custody off Duclos Road. The second subject has been identified as James A. Badger of Royalton.  Badger has not been located. A photograph is included. Police agencies assisting for the search of the subjects in the woods were: Orange County Sheriffs, VT Department of Motor Vehicle Inspectors.  Anyone with information about Badgers whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Vermont State Police in Royalton at 802-234-9933.
