Fort Mill, SC (September 9, 2011) Continental Tire The Americas (CTA) announces a price increase of up to 8.5% with some in-line adjustments on all PLT Continental, General and Proprietary Brand passenger and light truck tires in the United States. The price increase will vary by product line and size. The price increase is effective as of November 1, 2011, for the U.S. market and is a response to the continuing rise in raw material cost.
