House Key Vote: Continuing Resolution Amendments
Dear Representative,
On behalf of more than 1.6 million Americans for Prosperity activists in all 50 states, I urge you to remember the free market grassroots movement as you vote on amendments to H.R. 1, the continuing resolution for the remainder of FY2011.
AFP urges you to support the following amendments. We may rate these votes in our congressional ratings.

Rooney Amendment (No. 2) to strip funding for the extra engine for the joint strike fighter, a Defense Department expense that Presidents Bush and Obama and Secretary Gates all oppose. (Or any amendment with a similar effect.)

Gardner Amendment (No. 79) to prohibit funds to be used to pay any HHS salary to develop or promulgate regulations under ObamaCare. (Or any amendment with a similar effect.)

Emerson Amendment (No. 83) to prohibit funds to be used by the IRS to enforce the individual mandate under ObamaCare. (Or any amendment with a similar effect.)

Heller Amendment (No. 92) to prohibit any funds to be used to designate monuments under the Antiques Act of 1906. (Or any amendment with a similar effect.)

Jordan Amendment (No. 104) to reduce spending for the remainder of FY2011 to $100 billion below the current FY2010 levels. (Or any amendment with a similar effect.)

Poe Amendment (No. 198) to prohibit funds to be used by the EPA to establish a cap-and-trade program. (Or any amendment with a similar effect.)

Labrador Amendment (No. 201) to prohibit funds to be used by the EPA to finalize the proposed Boiler MACT rule. (Or any amendment with a similar effect.)

Scalise Amendment (No. 204) to prohibit any funds to pay the salary or expenses of any White House czars. (Or any amendment with a similar effect.)

Walden Amendment to restrict funds so the Federal Communication Commission cannot continue its Internet takeover under the guise of “net neutrality.” (Or any amendment with a similar effect.)

Oppose the Polis Amendment (No. 66) to strike language that would prohibit the EPA from regulating greenhouse gases under the Clean Air Act. (Or any amendment with a similar effect.)
