UBISOFT® JAPAN LAUNCHES CASTLE LAND SOCIAL GAME ON mixi, JAPAN’S SOCIAL NETWORK SERVICE



Tokyo, Japan – December 8, 2010 – Today Ubisoft launches Castle Land on mixi, Japan’s biggest social network system. Headquartered in Paris, France, Ubisoft has launched a number of social applications around the world, but Castle Land marks the first time the company has launched a Japanese-language title on mixi. As Japan’s most popular social network service, mixi counts more than 20 million users.
 
In Castle Land , users reign over their own kingdoms, adorning them with buildings and decorations and sharing their achievements with friends and contacts from the mixi user base. The game also allows you to visit your friends’ kingdoms and help them by cheering on their subjects, pulling weeds from their gardens, sending free gifts and taking part in special events.
