About the Author
Marlies ter Borg, born in Indonesia and raised in England and the Netherlands, is a freelance philosopher with a Ph.D. from the Free University in Amsterdam. During the Cold War, she organized bridge-building seminars with NATO and Warsaw Treaty experts. After the fall of the Berlin wall she led the Foundation Building for Peace. To compile this anthology, ter Borg collaborated with Christian, Muslim and secular experts from various countries.
