Some Republican leaders, including a few of the “Best and Brightest” like Newt Gingrich, are calling for the repeal of Obamacare even though the President would surely veto any repeal while he is still in office. Obamacare, which features lots of taxes, bureaucratic growth and iron fisted control but very little in the way of real reform and true cost control should not have passed the House. The Political Prophet® did, however, predict passage as a result of White House bribes of Congress Members and others like AARP and the drug companies. The immediate risk is that Republicans will overreach with their responses to passage of the Obamacare legislation. However there are some very astute Republican strategists serving in Congress and some who advise those who serve. The Political Prophet® now predicts that certain Republicans will quietly reach across the isle in both Houses to Democrats who are frightened about the mid term elections in November. Congressman Bart Stupak (D-MI), the abortion sell-out who made passage of Obamacare possible, has already announced his “retirement” as have many others but there are still Democrats who might make a deal to substantially correct the existing legislation in an attempt to reduce the tremendous hostility voters are showing toward the re-election bids of those who supported Obamacare. The Political Prophet® further predicts that the makeup of Congress following the November election will be substantially more conducive to enacting needed changes in the original legislation. True healthcare reform will be possible when the control of Congress is wrested from those who are pursuing a radical agenda for the benefit of special interests at the direction of the political operators in the White House. This coming election may have a greater impact on American lives and our Nation’s future than any other election in modern times.
