Stanley Receives $126 Million Army Task Order
April 7, 2010 (FinancialWire) — Stanley, Inc. (NYSE: SXE), a provider of systems integration and professional services to the U.S. federal government, said that it was awarded a three-year, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract valued at $126 million, with exercise of options, by the U.S. Army to provide support services to the Field Logistics Readiness Center at Fort Riley, Kansas.
Under the contract, Stanley will provide maintenance, supply, quality and production control services for Army systems as well as other professional logistics management services required for support of FLRC Fort Riley customers, including the Army's 1st Infantry Division.
The team, which consists of Stanley, Eagle Support Services, Inc. and Orion Technology, Inc., will also perform maintenance on a range of ground support systems, including automotive, power generation, weapons and communications.
