Man indicted after improper asbestos disposal

Denver (Mesothelioma Cancer News) - A Denver man has been indicted following allegations that he failed to properly dispose of asbestos that had been removed by his company, Talon Environmental Inc., from three business locations. As reported by News First 5, businessman James Robert Soyars Jr. stands accused of keeping the asbestos in a storage space as opposed to safely disposing of it after the removal. As noted in the report, Soyars was indicted by a Denver grand jury on nine counts stemming from the accusations. Included in the list of charges are failure to label containers as well as failure to deposit the asbestos immediately. The Denver businessman has been accused of violating the Clean Air Act.
