November 10, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Banco Santander Chile (NYSE: SAN) has priced $500 million of its 2.875% senior notes due 2012 in a private offering.

According to Santander, proceeds from this private offering will be used to finance the bank’s lending activities.

Santiago-based Banco Santander Chile is the largest bank in Chile in terms of loans and branches. The bank’s main shareholder is Santander, which controls 76.91% of Banco Santander Chile.
