Omni-Lite Inks Deal Worth $1 Million Canada

May 8, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Omni-Lite Industries Canada Inc. (TSX Venture: OML) said it signed a new contract in its military division valued at about $1,021,000 million CDN ($875,000 US). The delivery of the components is scheduled to begin in Q2 and must be completed by December 31, 2009.

CEO David Grant said the company has been working on the program for 18 months. “This order and others expected for this product line will provide more clarity on the future requirements for this component,” Grant said in a statement. “Delays in final approval of this product line led to lower revenues in Q4 of 2008 and Q1 in 2009.”

Omni-Lite is a high technology company that develops and manufactures precision components utilized by 50 companies including Boeing, Airbus, Alcoa, Chrysler, the U.S. military, Nike, Adidas and Reebok.
