Ciber Wins Maryland Contract
The project, which began on January 12, is slated to be performed in phases over the course of the next 44 months. The new Oracle ERP system is meant to allow for transformation of business processes and will replace Montgomery County's current legacy mainframe applications. Montgomery has around 930,000 residents.
Ciber will serve as prime contractor for the project. The Oracle E-Business ERP solution will include applications for payroll, benefits administration, personnel administration, general ledger, accounts payable, purchasing, and contract management, among others.
