UC Hastings board votes to cooperate with name change
(Subscription required) After the vote, Hastings announced the board had authorized “UC Hastings leadership to work with legislators and other stakeholders to change the college’s name. Because the Hastings name is written into state law, a change to the school’s name requires legislation from the California State Legislature.”
