Luanda, ANGOLA, November 8 - The Angolan head of State Joao Lourenço has approved a AKZ 3 billion additional credit for National Institute of Social Security, Mecanagro and Sopir - Sociedade de Desenvolvimento dos Perímetros Irrigados. ,

The amount is for payment of wage arrears for the employees of the said companies supervised by Agriculture and Forestry Ministry, according to a note from the Presidency's Civil Affairs Office.

The specific decree states that the credit should be granted on phased basis, depending on the payment needs, it added.

The source clarifies that the amount approved is allocated to the budget unit of the State Assets and Shareholding Management Institute.
