Angola's new ambassador to France presents credentials

Luanda, ANGOLA, September 1 - The Angolan ambassador to France, João Miranda, presented last Friday, in Paris, the credentials that enable him to carry out his duties with the Gallic authorities.,

A note from the Angolan Embassy in France, to which ANGOP had access on Friday, indicates that the ceremony also brought together the accreditation of ambassadors from other countries, a total of nineteen.

 

He added that on the sidelines of the ceremony, João Miranda met separately with the French President, Emmanuel Macron, with whom he exchanged views on the state of friendship and cooperation between Angola and France.

 

João Miranda was appointed to the position of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the French Republic by President João Lourenço, in February 2018, replacing Miguel da Costa.
