Internationally Acclaimed Speakers Maureen Chiquet and Joanne Lipman to Keynote Signature Business Event in N.J.
GLASSBORO, NEW JERSEY, UNITED STATES, January 17, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- As part of its expanding influence in strengthening the business growth in southern New Jersey, the Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce's CEO Les Vail announced the local chamber has booked two internationally acclaimed keynote speakers to attend a regional business event scheduled for September 20, 2018.
Former CEO of Chanel and Banana Republic, Maureen Chiquet, and Joanne Lipman, editor in chief of USA TODAY and USA TODAY NETWORK, are the scheduled speakers during the, "The Individual. The Business," event scheduled to be held at Pfleeger Concert Hall at Rowan University, Glassboro, N.J.
"We are the sixth largest chamber of commerce in the state of New Jersey, but we are just getting started," Vail said after the announcement made during the chamber's State of the County event Friday, January 12, 2018.
The chamber leader said this daylong event will feature a number of opportunities for business and community leaders from throughout the entire region to spend the day engaged in thought-provoking discussions on ways to grow their business and communities. The conference is also scheduled to included esteemed presenters, educational breakout sessions and networking opportunities. More than 800 people are expected to attend he said.
"This event, and by engaging these caliber of speakers, we are continuing to strengthen our commitment to our members and community to show how much we love helping them build strong relationships," Vail said.
To begin the celebration and the work ahead, Vail also announced the chamber's new Fall in Love with Business campaign. The campaign includes a series of giveaways for the next two weeks that will encourage members and would-be members to "fall in love with doing business with each other again," he said.
Giveaways are scheduled to include gift cards to area restaurants, iPads and other higher ticket items business owners would find useful to help them grow their companies.
The chamber president said other announcements are in the works.
"As the county grows in influence, we at the chamber want to be partners and leaders in that continuing influence. Never has there been an opportunity anywhere in our region like this. This is part of the chambers commitment to growing our relationship with our members and to help them grow and succeed in new and energized ways," he said.
