Notice of Availability for Explanation of Significant Differences for the Rocky Flats Corrective Action Decision/Record of Decision Central Operable Unit
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) announces the availability of an Explanation of Significant Differences (ESD) for review. The ESD describes change in the location of the treatment of the Mound Site Plume from the Mound Site Plume Treatment System to the East Trenches Site Plume Treatment System air stripper. The ESD provides website references to the site history and the selected remedy and information on the proposed adjustment to the remedy for changing the treatment location of the groundwater intercepted from the Mound Site Plume.
