MOORESVILLE, N.C., UNITED STATES, June 3, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Author W. Todd Pederson enlightens readers as he produces a story full of eye-opening lessons in his geopolitical-religious thriller, “Owned.”

A story of experiences, explanation and answers, “Owned” is a historical fiction about the dangers of not having an identifiable view that provides moral clarity and boundaries.

“I was struck by how many former Nazi's admitted that they were ‘just following orders’ but did not have the moral character to object in the early days of Nazism until it was too late. In addition, I was moved to hear how many Nazis found forgiveness from their victims through Christ, who paid for their crimes with His life. Justice was needed, and they understood that Christ’s death on a cross was justice they should have received. Only a Christian worldview allowed forgiveness when the victims were not alive to grant it,” shares Pederson when asked about the inspiration behind his book.

“It’s a modern story of people today who clamor for social justice. The story involves historical fact and took two years to complete,” states Meg Ormiston, Acquisitions Editor for Tate Publishing.

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.

Pedersen, who is based in North Carolina, has earned a master’s degree in biology and has worked in the healthcare industry for over 20 years. He has also worked with men’s ministries and churches, teaching the value of a biblical worldview. This work represents his passion for history, current events and finding new ways to share the gospel with our post-Christian society.
