Seminar: Two Years, 25 Countries. What I've Learned from the Journey with Mark Wallace
Monday, February 1st, 5:30pm - 7:30pm
Join Mark Wallace for a free seminar where he will recount his two-year journey around the world. Mark left the United States in 2013 and visited 25 countries. He took thousands of photographs and learned many new things. Mark will share tips for better travel photography, discuss the photography gear he used, and talk about his essential travel gear.
Mark will also cover the logistics of travel: visa applications, insurance, safety, and more. Anyone interested in Mark's photography work and his videos can ask him questions during the Q&A session at the end of the seminar.
Mark is based in Phoenix, Arizona. Aside from holding workshops across the country, he also produces and hosts the web-based video series "Digital Photography, One on One" and "How'd They Do That?" both sponsored by Adorama TV. Millions of people have watched Mark's videos on YouTube.

Join host Robert Caplin at the Adorama in-store event space with his guest, photo editor Brad Smith, for a live podcast. Brad is the former director of photography at Sports Illustrated (SI), where he oversaw all photographic content. Prior to SI, Brad was the sports photo editor for The New York Times and was the assistant director of photography for the White House during the Clinton administration.
Brad was also the director of photography at Sports Illustrated Kids and Sports Illustrated Women. Brad is on the faculty for the Eddie Adams Workshop, Summit Workshops, and FOTOfusion.

Free Demos: Learn Beauty Photography with Daniel Norton
Thursday, February 4th, 3 Sessions: 12pm - 1pm, 2pm - 3pm, 4pm - 5pm
Join Daniel Norton, Adorama Pro's senior lighting consultant and trainer, in a free workshop that explores several types of beauty lighting that will flatter both men and women. Attendees will use the latest cameras from Hasselblad and lighting from Broncolor, and they will work with models to create stunning beauty portraits.
Attendees can also try different lighting scenarios and will learn how medium format cameras from Hasselblad can help create files of unmatched quality. These live demos will include lectures, practical demonstrations, and hands-on time with the equipment.
