Support for North West food enterprises offered at new event
Food and drink entrepreneurs of the North West can learn how to gain a competitive advantage at a forthcoming event to be held in Manchester on 25 June.
Following its successful London launch, the Food and Drink Federation's (FDF) upcoming 'Grow Your Business' event will help start-ups and established businesses to increase profitability and brand recognition.
Delegates will discover where and how to allocate funding, how to pitch to retailers, how to use social media as a marketing tool and how to label their products.
At the event entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to hear from industry experts and successful businesses including AON, Ashbury Labelling, Currencies Direct, Eversheds, Horizons, LAB and RBS.
The day will be organised into three sessions:
- Market and shopper trends
- Legislation and regulation
- Practical Information
Delegates will also have the chance to pose questions and network with speakers and delegates.
Steve Barnes, Economic and Commercial Services Director at FDF, said: “Following the tremendous turnout and fantastic feedback from businesses represented at the London launch, we are delighted to host this event in Manchester for entrepreneurs of the North West. Delegates will receive expert advice in a range of areas such as how to get their foot in the door with retailers, how to perfect their on-pack labelling, and how to build their brand online. There will also be an opportunity to network with panellists and sector peers at the event.”
