The Palacio Euskalduna conference centre in Bilbao is the chosen venue for Iberdrola's Shareholder Day on 27 March. A number of presentations and activities have been planned with a view to giving our shareholders an insight into our business, corporate and institutional dimensions.

The event will begin at 9 a.m., coinciding with the launch of the "Plaza Iberdrola" space and the presentation of the programme of musical performances, videos and interviews arranged on a thematic basis on the "Plató Iberdrola" (Iberdrola Stage).

Various speakers will address issues such as innovation, sustainable energy, the future of energy and culture. The company has also planned various forums on social action and sustainability and on Iberdrola's economic and industrial activities. These will give shareholders the opportunity to engage in dialogue with representatives from the company.

Any questions or comments that are made during these events, as well as any other issues that the shareholders raise via the other channels for participation, may be brought before the AGM, to be addressed along with the questions that are asked by those in attendance during the speeches.

Iberdrola has also planned to host musical performances by Marlango, Leiva, the txalaparta players Oreka TX, the Otxote Bilbo Argia group and the ScottishPower Pipe Band, which features employees from the group's Scottish subsidiary. 

The "Plaza Iberdrola" programme will end at 11 a.m. Half an hour later, the Annual General Meeting 2015 will begin with a speech by the Group's chairman Ignacio Galán on the current situation, the results achieved in the last year and the outlook for the company. The event will conclude at 1 p.m. with a drinks reception for all shareholders courtesy of the company.

To promote attendance, the company will provide comprehensive assistance to people with restricted mobility and hearing or sight impairments. It will also set up a crèche supervised by qualified professionals for those in attendance that need care for babies or children under the age of seven.
